RE: Restart HTTP is waiting on sessions

The Traveler servlet (running in HTTP which you are trying to restart) will listen for shutdown as long as your Traveler isn't too old (I don't remember exactly when the quit listening got added, but it was a few fixpacks ago at least and in the 8.5.3 stream). Thus, you could do "tell http q" and "load http".

If that doesn't work, you can always stop Traveler too (tell traveler shutdown, load traveler) which will tell the servlet to release all the existing connections which will allow HTTP to come down as well.
